Research Interests
Sarah is an MD/PhD student at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP). She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2013, where she received a B.A. with High Honors in Neuroscience, and was a James O. Freedman Presidential Scholar (2013) and Tucker Foundation Fellow (2012).
In 2016 Sarah began her thesis work under Dr. Elliot Stein. She is pursuing her Ph.D. training in Neuroscience through the NIH MD/PhD Partnership Training Program between NIDA and the University of Maryland MSTP. Sarah’s scientific interests include the etiology of psychiatric disease, neuroimaging research methods, and relating basic science research with applications to the clinic.
