Leslie Ramsey, Ph.D.
Dr. Leslie Ramsey is a Staff Scientist in the Behavioral Neuroscience Branch, where she studies the role of neuronal ensembles in addiction-related learned behavior, as well as the role of social factors in drug addiction. She uses a combination of behavioral models, electrophysiology, and molecular biology to characterize and manipulate neuronal ensembles in brain regions associated with drug taking. Dr. Ramsey received her Ph.D. in neurobiology from the University of Texas at Austin.
