Brenton Laing, Ph.D.
Dr. Brenton Laing is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Cellular and Neurocomputational Systems Branch. His research focuses on aversive states from the perspective of integrating neuronal circuits and behavior. The goal of this research is to identify brain circuits involved in the etiology of disorders characterized by aversive states, such as withdrawal from drug addiction. He received a Ph.D. in bioenergetics from East Carolina University.
