Sanket Gupte, M.S.

Sanket completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Gujarat University, India in 2009 and later graduated with a M.S in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Combining his research interests in Wireless-sensor networks, Cloud computing and vehicular ad-hoc networking he defended his thesis focusing on creating an algorithm and developing a system to eliminate road traffic congestion, under the guidance of Dr. Mohammed Younis. Before joining the NRB, Sanket worked as a Software Developer for RTI International between 2010 and 2011, creating applications to collect and analyze research data.

Projects:

  • Facilitate and act as an intermediary for combining and sharing of data between the respective neuroimaging branches of NIDA and NIAAA.
  • Developing and customizing applications to aid the goal of data sharing.
  • Writing programs and applications to aid data analysis.
  • Linux System Administration
  • Fixing problems that people don’t know they have, in ways they don’t want to know.
  • Helping others with programming if offered adequate edible incentives or sending links to helpful pages if no incentives offered.
